The Panhed 1!

The idea for the product came from our wish to add motion to otherwise static timelapses. Of course there exist already pan & tilt heads, but those are really expensive and need additional power supply.
We wanted an affordable device which would work without electricity. Thats why we opted for a purely mechanical design.
Right now, we managed to reduce the size to roughly a cube of 5 cm sidelength. To mount the head on a tripod and to mount a camera onto the device, a classical 1/4 thread is used.
The panning angle is 360 ° during 120 minutes. We consider this amount of time best suited for most of everyday occasions. Of course you can combine several panheds to obtain 60 mins or shorter rotation times. Feel free to experiment!
